We envision a healthy, prosperous community where all at-risk children are educated, preventable disease is eradicated, and opportunities exist for people to provide for themselves and their families.
Empowering rural communities in Africa with high quality basic health care, effective public health initiatives, microfinance and support for vulnerable children.
We have a special love for children, whom we see not as a burden, but as part of a brilliant future for Africa.
At Lalmba, we are united by a shared passion for making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve. Our diverse international team comprises dedicated African staff, skilled medical professionals, and compassionate U.S. donors and volunteers, all working collaboratively toward a common goal: to empower rural communities in Kenya and Ethiopia.
We do this by providing high-quality basic healthcare and effective public health initiatives, empowering the poor through microfinance and education, and deliver unwavering support to orphaned and vulnerable children. Through these efforts, we aim not only to address immediate health and economic challenges but also to foster a sustainable environment in which these communities can thrive and realize their full potential.
Our efforts are structured around three main pillars: At-Risk Children, Medica Care, and Empowerment. Each pillar is designed to address specific needs within the communities we serve:
At-Risk Children: Supporting the health, education, and well-being of children, ensuring they have the opportunities they need to thrive.
Medical Care: Providing essential medical care and health education to prevent disease and improve quality of life.
Empowerment: Offering training and support programs that empower individuals and communities to sustainably improve their own circumstances.
